Divorce - Child Custody | Print |

During a divorce or a child custody matter you will need to make difficult decisions that will affect your financial health and mental health. I pride myself on my ability to listen to my clients concerns and explain what can be expected during negotiations or at trial. When counseling my clients on what is in their best interest or the best interest of their children, I never lose sight of the fact that these are emotionally difficult times.

Throughout a divorce or child custody matter, some issues are worth contesting while other issues should be resolved short of trial. My opinion is based on the law, my experience, and what is in my client's best interest. I have found in my experience it is best to negotiate before taking a matter to a hearing or trial. However, when a matter goes to trial, I diligently prepare for the hearing.

During divorce and child custody cases, clients will have many questions at the beginning of the process and throughout the process. My goal is to keep my clients informed of what is happening in his or her case and work together with my clients to come to a result that works best for each individual client.

Some family law matters I handle on a "flat fee." Most family law matters such as divorce and custody cases, I handle on an hourly basis. My hourly fee is $200 an hour, which is very competitive.

The areas of Family Law in which I practice are:

1. Pre-marital (Prenuptial) Agreements

2. Marital Dissolutions and legal separations
